TRANSPORT OPTIONS:

Mountain Marathon and 30km Adventure Race.

All entrants in the Mountain Marathon and 30km Adventure Race must use the Transport provided to the race start (cost is included in entry fee). You cannot drive yourself or be dropped off at the race start in Skippers Canyon. The only alternative is to book a helicopter transfer from Moke Lake during registration (additional $140)

Our transport will be provided by Go Orange Rafting, Skippers Canyon Jet and AJ Hackett on the morning of the race – departing either from the race finish at Moke Lake or outside Go Orange Rafting on Shotover St, Queenstown. You will select your preferred location when registering. (Note you will be able to change this up until the 31st of January).

OPTION 1: Pick Up -Moke Lake

If you choose this option you will need to drive a short distance from Queenstown (approx 14km / allow 20 mins drive time) to the race finish at Moke Lake where parking facilities will be available for you to leave your car near the finish line – so that when you complete the marathon your vehicle and personal items will be nearby.

Please ensure you are at your chosen pick up location at least 10 minutes before the bus departure time.

OPTION 2: Pick Up – Queenstown

If you are staying in Queenstown the night before the race and have somebody to collect you from the finish at Moke Lake – there is no need to travel to Moke Lake on the morning of the race. You can simply be picked up outside Go Orange at 35 Shotover Street, Queenstown (main street).

Please ensure you are at your chosen pick up location at least 10minutes before the bus departure time.
