Standard Refund & Withdrawal Terms

  • Entry fee refund requests submitted before 20th November will receive a 75% refund of their entry fee.
  • Refunds requested between 1st November and the 10th January will receive 50% of their entry fee.
  • Any withdrawal requests/refunds submitted from 11th January will receive no refund. 
  • We do not allow for transfer of entries in between individuals.
  • We do not allow for deferral of entries to future events

Additional purchases (t-shirts, helicopter transfers, additional bus transfers) are included in the above policy.

I can't make it to the race any more, can I get a refund or defer my entry?

I can't come any more, can I get someone else to take my place?

No, we do not allow for transfer of entries in between individuals. You may qualify for a refund subject to our standard terms and dates.

Can I defer my entry into a future year?

No, we do not permit any participant to move their entry into another year.

What happens if the event is cancelled, course changed, or postponed ?

If conditions beyond the event organisers control mean that the event needs to be shortened, or course altered there will be no refunds offered.

What happens if the event cannot take place due to government restrictions?

If due to public health measures, or any government directive the event organisers are required to, or decide to, cancel the event. Then we will provide a 50% refund. This policy does not apply if a participant chooses not to enter the race of their own accord, or for any other reason. 

What if there are border closures in place that prohibit me from travelling to NZ?

Understandably we are in an unknown period in relation to global travel, if you choose to enter a race you are doing this in full knowledge of the current restrictions, and will be bound by our standard terms and conditions for withdrawals and refunds. We have looked to lengthen these time frames where possible to give you the most confidence in entering in an event. 

If however a participant is unable to travel to New Zealand to participate in the event due to a border closure either in New Zealand, or another country. Then subject to providing evidence to support this we will refund 50% of your entry fee.

You could stay at either Ben Lomond Lodge or Moonlight Lodge the night before the race.

Leave your car at the finish line at Moke Lake and we'll take you into our lodges for a fantastic meal and great company. 


2021 Race Accommodation Packages.
