Ben Lomond Vertical Kilometre
The Ben Lomond Vertical Kilometere event takes you from near the Ben Lomond Woolshed to the summit of Ben Lomond, climbing 1200m over 3.9km

The course starts on Ben Lomond Station beside the scenic Moke Lake. After completion of the course competitors will be able to return via the Ben Lomond track into Queenstown.
The course is all off-track and good footwork, balance and strength is essential. (Poles are permitted).
ELEVATION:
Over 1200m of climbing.

Elite – 1hr
Competitive Runners – 1.5 to 2 hrs
Casual Runners - 2.5 hrs

CUT OFF TIMES:
While this is an uphill only course, all participants will need to descend from the summit down the Ben Lomond and Skyline tracks. We reserve the right to alter the course to suit conditions. Cut off times apply to the course for your own safety and that of the volunteers, marshals and staff. Please respect the decisions made by race officials with regards to cut of times.
